Island Of Adventures

Fun Things To Do All Around Ireland

Ireland is full of adventures! Fun and excitement wait around every corner – in the city, in the countrysideand over the mountains. Surf an Atlantic wave, go horse-trekking through the wilderness or dance to Irish music. Go whale watching, see the Northern Lights or travel by hot air balloon. There’s a whole island to explore!
Experience and explore the island of Ireland in this beautifully illustrated and vibrant picture book.
Adventures for the whole family, all around Ireland.

I wrote this book because I really love Ireland – where I’m from. It’s inspired by the mid-century travel books of one of my favourite illustrators, M. Sasek.

I hope I captured the essence of just some of the amazing things you can do on our small island on the edge of the Atlantic.

Available from all good book stores and from O’Brien Press.
