Girls Play Too: Book 2 – More Inspiring Stories of Irish Sportswomen

Jacqui Hurley’s sequel to the 2020 bestseller and An Post-nominated title Girls Play Too, featuring more inspirational stories of Irish sportswomen for 8-14-year-olds. Published by Merrion Press.

I was delighted to join the team again to illustrate some of the wonderful athletes featured in Jacqui’s new book.

As before, the book was illustrated by Irish Illustrators Jennifer Farley (that’s me!), Sinead Colleran, Rachel Corcoran, Jennifer Murphy and Lauren O’Neill.

I love projects like this, where I get to research and find out more about amazing, inspirational people.

All of the ladies featured in the book are at the top of their game, whether it’s playing the sport, managing teams or reaching the top of the Irish Sports Federation.
