I’m Jennifer Farley, an Irish illustrator, author and designer. My work is bright and colourful, with a touch of retro charm, a splash of texture and a hint of humour. I’m available for commissions, and I’d love to hear about your project.
What I illustrate
Picture books. I write and illustrate my own picture books and illustrate for other authors. I’ve worked with publishers including O’Brien Press, Scholastic, Merrion Press and Beehive Books.
Illustrated maps. I draw maps for publications, festivals, tourism and organisations, packed with characters, landmarks and local detail.
Editorial and promotional illustration. Illustrations for magazines, websites, campaigns, exhibitions and event. See recent projects.

I’ve created illustrations for publishers, museums, festivals, brands and arts organisations, including Aer Lingus, Irish Times, Irish Independent, the National Print Museum, the International Literature Festival Dublin, Energia and Irish Life and many more lovely clients and partners.
How it works
- Get in touch. Tell me about your project, who it’s for, and your timeline.
Email: jennifer@jenfarley.com - Quote and agreement. I’ll send you a clear quote, schedule and usage terms. Once we’re both happy, we’re ready to go.
- Sketches. I’ll send rough sketches or layouts for your feedback.
- Revisions. I include an agreed number of changes at the sketch stage, and one round at the final stage.
- Final artwork. You’ll receive finished files in the formats you need.
Before you get in touch
It helps me to know:
- What the project is and who the audience is
- Where the illustration will be used (print, web, packaging, etc.)
- Your deadline
- Your approximate budget
I’ll reply as quickly as possible. If your deadline is tight, mention it in your message, and I’ll let you know straight away whether I can fit it in.
