An illustrated map showing all of the 32 countries taking part in the 2018 Football World Cup. Each country is represented by a footballer wearing the colours of the national football team. In some cases the “home” kit and in others the “away” kit. A really fun project to work on.
I start my maps with sketches of the icons or events that will appear on the map, then colour them in Photoshop and add texture.
