My most recent picture book is “Wonder-Vet. The Amazing Adventures of Aleen Cust.”
Aleen Cust was the first female vet in Ireland and Great Britain.
Wonder-Vet tells the true story of Aleen Cust, born into an aristocratic family in Ireland in 1868. As a young girl she discovers her unwavering passion for animals. Despite her family’s disapproval, Aleen, sets forth on an extraordinary journey to become a vet.
